Applying for a Grant
Getting Started
The Foundation requires all grant applications to be submitted online. To avoid delays in the proposal review process, please read all directions carefully and have the appropriate materials ready before beginning the application.
Step 1: Verify Your Organization’s IRS Status
Before starting the application, check your organization’s legal name and IRS status on GuideStar by Candid. You can find this information by entering your EIN at GuideStar.org/search.
Step 2: Sign In or Create an Account
You will be prompted to sign in using your email address and password.
If this is your organization’s first time using our online application system, please create a profile and set up a password.
Step 3: Select and Complete the Appropriate Grant Application. Choose either the Grants to Teachers or Grants to Schools application form. The system is designed to make the application process as straightforward as possible for our applicants.
Step 4: Submit the Application
Our online application system is designed to streamline the process for grantees.
Step 5. Attachments
Review the list of attachments needed to submit a proposal. Any missing required documents will result in the delay of consideration of your proposal.
